FAQs

Have you got a question about working with me? I've got you covered, but if the answer you're looking for isn't below, pop me a message!

01

What is an Neurodiversity Coach?

Neurodiversity coaching is a specialised support service designed to help neurodivergent individuals (such as those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia etc) understand their unique strengths, develop personalised strategies, and navigate personal and professional challenges.

03

I own a small business. How can you help?

With my experience in running my own businesses, I am well-equipped to help small business owners, particularly during their start-up and growth periods. I understand the unique challenges they face and can provide valuable insights and practical advice. I support small businesses by offering strategic planning, efficient time management techniques, and guidance on scaling operations. Furthermore, I help small business owners build sustainable routines that not only support their professional success but also ensure they feel fulfilled in their personal lives.

02

What is a Neurodiversity Support Worker?

As a Neurodiversity Support Worker, I provide personalised, practical support to help neurodivergent individuals navigate everyday life and reach their full potential. I work directly with individuals who have ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other neurodivergent conditions, offering tailored strategies to manage daily challenges, develop effective routines, and improve social skills. My approach focuses on understanding each person's unique neurodivergent profile, building confidence, and providing tools to help clients advocate for themselves in workplace, educational, and personal environments. I offer hands-on guidance in accessing support services, creating practical solutions, and serving as an accountability partner to ensure clients stay motivated and on track towards their goals. My support is judgement-free, strengths-focused, and designed to empower neurodivergent individuals to embrace their unique way of thinking and living.

04

05

Do you only work with neurodiverse people?

No, I also work with neurotypical individuals, providing support in achieving their personal and professional goals. My approach focuses on empowering clients to enhance their self-awareness, develop effective coping mechanisms, and improve their overall well-being. Whether navigating educational challenges, workplace dynamics, or personal growth, I offer strategies that promote success and fulfillment.

By fostering an inclusive and supportive environment, I aim to empower all clients, regardless of neurodiversity, to confidently navigate life's complexities and achieve their desired outcomes.

07

How much will this cost?

My services start from £70 per hour. This rate reflects the personalised guidance, strategies, and support I provide. I offer block pricing options, which reduce the overall cost for clients who commit to multiple sessions. This structured approach allows us to work more intensively over a set period, ensuring sustained progress towards their goals. Each session is tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of my clients, focusing on enhancing self-awareness, developing effective coping mechanisms, and improving overall well-being. This investment ensures that you receive dedicated support and strategies that empower youto navigate challenges and achieve personal and professional growth effectively.

09

How do I get started?

Getting started with me is straightforward, and I'm here to ensure the process is smooth for you. You can begin by booking a discovery call or simply sending me an email to kick things off. During our conversation, we'll talk about your goals, challenges, and how I can support you.

After our initial chat, I'll provide you with a personalised quote for the package that best fits your needs.

Once you've chosen the package that feels right for you, I'll send over some straightforward onboarding documents for you to review and complete. This helps us formalise our plans, set our goals together, and get ready to start making meaningful progress towards your aspirations.

All sessions will be conducted online via Teams or Zoom, however, on-site can be arranged at additional cost. Please discuss with me if you would like to explore this option.

I'm neurodiverse. How can you help?

As a late-diagnosed neurodiverse woman,  I bring a unique perspective and deep understanding to supporting neurodiverse individuals. I help them navigate their neurodiversity, whether it's ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or other cognitive differences, by providing personalised guidance and strategies tailored to their specific needs and challenges. Drawing from my own experiences and insights, I assist clients in developing practical skills to manage their day-to-day lives more effectively.

My approach involves empowering neurodiverse individuals to embrace their strengths while addressing areas of difficulty. I work with them to build self-awareness, develop coping mechanisms, and improve social interactions. Additionally, I offer support in navigating educational and workplace environments, advocating for accommodations when needed to ensure equal opportunities and success.

Beyond professional and academic settings, I help neurodiverse individuals cultivate sustainable routines that foster personal fulfilment and well-being. By fostering a supportive and understanding environment, I aim to empower my clients to confidently navigate life's challenges and thrive in their unique neurodiverse identities.

06

How long will we work together?

To ensure meaningful progress and results, I request a commitment of a minimum of four sessions from my clients. This timeframe allows us to establish a strong foundation, implement strategies, and evaluate their effectiveness over time. By committing to this structured approach, clients can experience tangible improvements in their lives and achieve their desired outcomes more effectively.

08

What is Access to work?

Access to Work is a government initiative in the UK designed to support individuals with disabilities or health conditions in the workplace. It provides financial assistance and practical support to help individuals start working, stay in work, or move into self-employment.

I can work with clients who receive Access to Work funding to provide specialised guidance and support tailored to their needs. This funding can cover the costs of my services, including sessions aimed at enhancing workplace skills, improving productivity, and fostering a supportive work environment that accommodates their neurodiversity.

If you are interested in learning more about Access to Work and how it can support you, or if you need assistance with the application process, please feel free to contact me. I am here to help you navigate the resources available and ensure you receive the support you need to thrive in your professional journey.
